A free bus takes you to the local ski area in the winter. There are also numerous other ski areas in the region surrounding Breitenbach.

Perfectly groomed cross-country ski trails lead you through the picturesque Breitenbach winter landscape. This is a particularly enjoyable experience for those that appreciate exploring nature. There are a total of 55 kilometres of beautifully groomed cross-country ski trails, some of which are lighted by night. Winter evenings can also be spent tobogganing, ice-skating, Bavarian curling, or sleigh riding.
